broke my seat!!!!

Angry broke my seat!!!!

wtf!!
i reached into the back seat, then i heard pop
then, i looked there was a huge crack!!
has any one elese had luck with warrenty
on this

yeah , happen to me. Just bring it back to the dealer. its a 1800 for the back part of the seat , but there covered it under warrenty because i told them the truth.

The mods have nothing to do with the seat, and it's a known defect as shown by the TSB. I would be more worried about the car being 3 years old or having 36k miles than whether or not mods would affect the warranty coverage.

Your seat has nothing to do with your mods. Even if they voided your warranty it wouldn't be for your interior.

Technical Service Bulletin. They are sent out so that the Mitsu Techs know that a common problem exists and how to fix it. It is only fixed for free under warranty and is not considered a safety concern, therefore it is not a Recall. It also only gets fixed/replaced if the problem occurs.

i am suprise that they did not state: because you are pulling 0.3g's more than stock evo on accleration, thus overstressing the seat back and therefore no replacement under warranty? LOL
