Private sale on a 3 year old car that retailed for 29k. he's asking 20k, what do you think you're missing? I bought my 03 a year ago with 10k more miles for 23.5 at a dealer.....car can depreciate a lot in a year.

I don't think it's that great of a deal, it's not bad but I wouldn't go for it.

 

it has 4 days to go. things will change in the final hours. don't take ebays low prices multipe days in advance as a good idea of things values.

man that guy is stupid to upgrade ONLY his IC.

iono how you buy cars on ebay but don't you get a test drive?

It's cheap cus the guy really wants it gone or he thinks that the mods bring down the cost (they do).

also, who ever modded that car didn't have a clue what they were doing.

 

the BIN price is 20k though, and yeah i know it depraises but ive seen alot of '03 evos go for 23-26k with 20-40k on the odo...


im gonna take a safe bet and say a ricer?? thats taken from the fact it has a upgrade ic, cf hood and lip, and intake because you all know how the intakes add 56whp guatenteed!!!

 

Some guy up here just bought an 03 with mods (not sure what ones) and 40k miles for $23.5K off some used lot with a trade in. I'm willing to bet there aren't more than 10 Evo's in my whole state of stupid North Dakota which would create demand. When the dealer warrantied my new engine, they said they've only sold 6 evo's ever. They're the only Mitsu dealer in this state.

I'm not sure if you guys read the description, but the engine is clicking. And because he is trying to make the car look as good as possible, it is probably more then minor lifter tick. The car is probably out of warrenty, and there is somthing (probably serious) wrong with the engine. Thats why its cheap.
