I have to make this clear, before I get thanked too much. My sister in law paid for all of this. I just did the research and considered what works and what doesn't. Looking up parts is one thing , paying for them is a completely different story. So she should get a majority of the credit. But I do appreciate the nice words. I will make sure the reads this.

To tell you the truth... no it was perfect not too loud and not too quiet, although i thought the EX-MAG was supposed to be almost as quiet as stock?? Whoever claimed that was dead wrong. I rang the ***** out of it on Friday and it wasn't annoying. Anything is better than a piped subie, anyways you are right, his wife does deserve most of the credit for this... cause Fiz you and i both know that ur wife would have never done this for you... oh well, i will talk to guys later next week

Cool Finally, The final say!

Well, I am finally making my first post to this site. I am LITE SPD's brother and am really lucky to have someone like him for a brother. My wife and him totally surprised the hell out of me and couldn't have wished for a better christmas. THe car feels great sounds and LOOKS awesome. Unlike some of us who don't care for the loud exhausts and gaudy bling under the hood; a stealth, quiet azz kicker is definately the times now. I don't know who (warrtalon) is or what he thinks he knows but he sure sounds ignorant. The concept of import tuning is an individual making a plan for his car and moding it the way he wants. Just because they are not the mods warrtalon likes doesn't mean they are not effective. I'm sure he could ask his sponsors to throw in a electronic B/C for him if he really begged. No company is going to own me or my car. Oh yah, and about that cut on the tunner shop that my car was moded at, they have been tuning since before warrtalon was a thought in his dad's right hand. The reason they set the boost to 19psi instead of 21 was to show me how to set it myself when I picked the car up.
After all that, the car feels like a stud and looks and sounds stealth. After a while, everyone that has streetraced an evo will know who he can beat, so having a the stockest and quietest ride will lure in the most prey. THe illusion of a stock car is definately the way to go unless you are trying to win engine shows. Remember, tuning your ride and how you roll is an extension of yourself, you don't like my mods, I don't care (warrtalon.) I love you Fiz and Heather. I'm out.

Well it took ya long enough to finally post. Guess that 24hr cool off period after you register didn't do much to calm you down.

Sure thing, bud. I was just talking out of my ***. I have no idea what I'm talking about, nor how to make an Evo fast, nor how to properly spend a given amount on the most effective parts. Apparently, you and your friend know better, though, despite no results to show for it. I'm glad you're happy, but I was just trying to help. Many people "think" their Evo's are fast only to find out later that it's not as fast as their butt dyno was telling them. You spoke of looking stealthy and not being too loud, but you failed to look at my mods or pay any attention to my suggestions. I have no visible mods other than my exhaust tip. I didn't even get an aftermarket boost gauge until recently, and that was only because I run more boost than the stock gauge reads (1.5bar=21.75psi). There is nothing under my hood that is noticeable without a trained eye, and I only have mods that allow me to go as fast as possible for as little money as possible. It sounds like you share the same ideals, yet you don't care how the money was spent. That sounds like a contradiction to me. You want to be as fast as possible without being obvious, yet you don't mind that a set amount of money was NOT spent in the best way possible to get the most power, then after seeing that I tried to provide suggestions on how to do that, you try to call me ignorant? That makes no sense. If anyone is ignorant, it's you and your friend, because you think you're so knowledgable without any experience.

Feel free to go run a 12.26 on your current setup on pump gas, then shoot for 12.000 on race gas. I'll be waiting on your results. I'm also not "owned" by any sponsors. They help me out, and I help them out. I wouldn't ask for an EBC, because I have no use for one. It's just expensive gadgetry that does nothing but scream "hey, look at me, i have a cool gadget that lights up" while controlling boost for 3x the cost of an MBC. That's fine, but it certainly doesn't fit with your claims above...

By the way, more money was spent here than on all my mods combined, but you're guaranteed to be slower while also being more obviously modded. I guess that's ok with you, since "import tuning is an individual making a plan for his car and moding it the way he wants"? Haha, ok. The problem is you didn't make this plan...Lite SPD did...and he didn't know what was best, unfortunately.

Most definitely not true... I got my 02 on yesterday (and port mactched turbine housing) and the difference was incredible. My throttle response and spool up is improved and definite top end gain, Im still in awe of the power increase from this part. Buschur just tested one and it put down 13whp, and it cost $60.
