Dan is a personal friend of mine and i have been in that car when it has run with a R1. He can shift stupid fast. the car launches pretty high, but not at 7k no more. that motor sings from 4500-8k.

Wouldn't be surprised if he breaks some Snitz on that car.

With over 200 passes on my Evo 8... only 1 broken drivetrain part, a rear axle at Route 66, the stickiest track in the country. I drive my car to the track and back from the track, full weight, all stock diffs. BTW I do lift on each shift, one of my best runs was a 10.3 at 136 with 1.6 60 foot on all season tires. I guess you would know better than me when and how to shift though... thanks for your input, I will keep it in mind next time I'm at the track

I have yet to see someone drive an AWD car, let alone an Evo like Dan
You better have that biatch runnin good when i come back out to Chi town in January with John
Whoever said those were slow or crappy shifts should be stoned... or was stoned when they said it.... and for those asking to see a time slip - watch the time on the video, idiots..... he launches at 4 seconds in and shuts down at just past 14.
I'm not a damn math wiz, but that sounds like a ten second-ish run to me.
Great vid, great driving, great car.
