Look for Gas City. I have a couple gas cities in Naperville that carry 100 octane.

check out http://www.racegas.com/gt100locals/default.asp - that will list all of the locations with Sunoco GT100 pumps. Just tell it you're in Illinois and you're good to go.

From the Sunoco website:
"Sunoco GTTM 100, which has the highest octane rating of any street legal fuel, is now available at selected retail locations. Sunoco GT 100 is designed for high performance street cars, muscle cars, classics, street rods, motorcycles, karts and marine applications. Sunoco GT 100 contains no metallic compounds to harm catalytic converters or oxygen sensors. It contains a comprehensive additive package for greater engine protection and reduced fuel system deposits."

If you live in great lakes, the drag strips by you probably have 100 or even 110 octane.

The clark station on the corner of 60/83 has 100. And if you go a little further down on 60, on the corner of diamond lake there is a citgo, that hast 110.

are you talking about the north side of chicago or far north of chicago since you stated you live great lakes. I just graduated from loyola ( 6300 north) in may and i used to get 100 oct at he gas city on clark st. if i remember correctly the address is 3800 north clark st. but for a fact its on clark between 3000 and 5000 north clark st. the only problem is that gas city stops selling race gas in november and wont have anymore until march.
