Running Rich?
take it back to the dealer you shouldnt be getting fuel cut at 4000rpm, as a matter of fact u shouldnt be getting any fuel cut if the car is completely stock, check the hoses running of the boost solenoid if you have a boost gauge check what your hitting on it.
That's good advice. Uaually it's modifications that may bring fuel cuts ... ESPECIALLY INTAKES. So whatever you do ... don't go messing with aftermarket intakes till you know exactly what you're doing.
I checked to make sure everything is plugged in and there are no loose hoses or anything, and it's completely stock so no mbc. But i'm taking it into the dealer next week. So hopefully they take care of this pretty quick.
change out your spark plugs! Thats what my car was doing until I put in new plugs.... NGKBPR7ES or tell them you want NGK 2023 for some reason when I was looking for them....thats the number the auto parts stores went by.

Verified by swapping coils & plug wires from a friend's Evo - problem solved!
Dealer is replacing the plug wires under warranty (coils check fine.)
