Odd issue with new IX. Need opinion

So I've noticed something odd about my speedometer. Whenever I accelerate from a stop the speedometer needle stays fixed on 0. The needle then suddenly jumps to the correct mph which fluctuates from 25-35mph. It doesn't have any issues once its in motion. Btw, the IX is bone stock with 400miles. Any opinons?

Thanks

Take it to the dealer and have them fix it.

You still have a warranty correct? Then take advantage of it and use it.

or maybe you are accelerating so fast that the speedo is to lazy to move until you slow down.

Bone Stock, 400 miles. Take it back. I've got 4100 on mine, not a single problem so far.

I must insist you take it in. Good luck.

That sucks having to return your car to the dealer, even though its for free.
Don't sweat it, they will fix it up, but while your waiting for it will probably fee like eternity. lol

I'm going to wait til she's broken in before I have her fixed. I don't trust mechanics especially the one trying to figure out the problem. I can already imagine him abusing my car.

You are better off reporting the problem now so they will fix it. Sadly they know more about your car than you, so just take it in. It's better to just report any problem you have now instead of later...for future purposes i mean. Good luck man.
