HKS SSQ Bov Flange help?

Well finally it's chirstmas and I received an HKS SSQ BOV w/recirculation kit from lancershop.com but when putting the silver inlet peice of the recirculation kit on the bov I noticed that I have no idea how the flange fits onto the bov? It came with instructions in all languages but american didnt tell me of how to put the flange onto the bov? I have searched numerous pages of threads on similar subjects and come up short. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need a special type of pliers. First you put some rtv or supplied gasket in between the pipe and the flange, then you put the bov on the flange, then use the crazy pliers (don't remember the name) to compress the ring and then slip it in the flange.
