No, that's not what we're talking about. Everyone knows not to compare numbers from different dynos in different parts of the country. The point is when multiple stock Evos dyno back-to-back and have a large variation. It happens sometimes, but the variances are usually low.

From what the OP said I didn't perceive that he understood that.

I don't know what the OP is, but you didn't quote anyone, so I wasn't sure who you were responding to...had to assume it was a general response to everyone.

RobDogg, yes, a boost controller is a sure-fire way to get warranty claims denied.

what if they are all slow? You might be picking from the 3 slowest evo 9's ever made.

You can't be serious...

Compared to what does it feel slow? How many miles does yours have? Have you gone all the way to 7500rpm at full boost? Have you done a hard launch followed by a 1-2-3-4 shift like at the drag strip?

I don't know how true this hold for the 4G63, but from my prior experience with motorcycles, specifically newer sportbikes, based on testing & dyno results, the motors that were broken in "harder" actually yielded higher HP numbers. Although, there was debate whether these motors lasted as long in the end.

f-dub, I am aware of different dynos.. different days.. different tuners, etc etc. thats why I said "engine dynos" before it's even in the car at the plant in Japan. I figured they tested every motor whilst outside of the car (Im guessing here) and thought perhaps, they'd have it on an engine dyno during the testing to insure proper working order. Thats all

3500 miles, slow maybe not slooooow but, it doesn't push me back in my seat for to long. It feels like i have to push the car pretty hard to get excited. I'm just used to it now, in the passenger seat it still feels fast, maybe thats why i let every one drive it.
