S2000 death to RS

I am appreciating the '06 more and more. I ran into an s2000 on the way home on I95 and we had several roll ons and it was pretty brutal as the ix put distance on quickly. I recall in my '03 and '04 that stock for stock and s2000 would a decent race on the top end. The IX really does have a nice pull all the way through redline. The S had paper tags but the exhaust tips looked too small to be an AP2.

I'm looking forward to it, I think some events are coming up this month.

Is there any rules regarding street racing threads on this forum?

Talking

Yes - I think a few innocent pulls can be considered spirited driving and not street racing ---- of course, I'm not a moderator

I forgot to mention that the state police closed the interstate and that all pulls were limited to a max of 70mph.

I love s2000's, I wasn't ******* them out just commenting on a much better stock top end on the IX. I would like to have gotten an s2000 to play with for a while, but my fiance has a boxster so I have to have something that accomdates more than a tissue box for luggage.

I too had a run in with a modded 2.2L S2000 on the highway, and was able to put buslengths on him, and this was in my 05 EVO with EBC and TBE.

With the same set-up I also wasted a SC Acura RSX-S as well.....
