Hey guys i'm Getting the Greddy Type S BOV for my car.. So i need to get the eclipse Flange Also??? I called someone they said something about the eclipse BOV for 200 and The direct bolt on for 280.. do i need the direct bolt on.. Can someone help hopefully i can order it by today.. ANd wahts a cheap place to order from.. thanks

it seems that what you need is to not do it yourself.. i'd reccomend finding a reputable shop or tuner to install it for you.

 

someone told me the enigine is on reverse or something.. so the Greddy Type S universal won't fit... How true is that??

I believe that you need the Greddy Type-S kit for the 95-99 eclipse. According to Coolguy and Concordmitsunet

 

I'm just going to get the HKS SSQV that someone said for the Evo 7 kit works for the 8...Forgot who it was....

 

BOV I really don't think you sould put one in your new EVO VIII, I had one in my EVO VII and its cool for a few weeks with psss psss but after a while it will drive you up the wall (On long road trips) The Return V in the EVO worked well with no lag between gears (don't kown about the US spec evo as it's diffrent from the higher spec evo's we get)but it will dive you mad
