Dumb question but need a quick response
Well I ran out to switch it like the pic.....seems a little more quiet.....seem to hear the turbo a hair more. But it works.....Kev, looks like we need to change yours. 
If anything it fits a ton better! The vacuum line (when mounted on top) is way too close to the upper radiator hose. So bad on mine that where it ended up pinching the hose and started to make a hole from rubbing up against the radiator hose.
With the BOV mounted like in the pic the vacuum hose is free of any obstructions.
