I went to look at body kits for Evos and saw that on www.body-kit.com, that they have said that the Evolution VIII will be the first of the Evo series to be a coupe, same as the Evo VII (with a total new body kit design), and will be out in 2004. Are there any ways to prove this or are they just speculating and stating them as facts?

 

A British coworker of mine pointed out that the Evo release timeline alternated between 1 and 2 year intervals between evolutions. According to his logic, the Evo 8 should be out next year. Not sure how this applies to the US Evos, though, since we're kind of behind the schedule with our Evo 7 release anyways.

I'm wondering if the Evo GT-A or whatever it's called is throwing a kink into the release schedule for the Evo 8 also.
