It is functional for sure. 80+ MPH it really helps keep the car stable. After 100 it makes a HUGE difference. I had it off the last month getting ti repainted. I had to go up to NY which is a 2 hour drive up, took me 1.5hours on the way back heheh. 120MPH VERY VERY smooth vs. twitchy with out the wing.

The Post

I know everyone is making fun of the wing, and thats cool, but I find it funny that all of you use your $1200 Carbon Fiber wing as a coffee table. Not a good idea, that Carbon fiber and clear coat ontop of it, may be fragile to heat changes like Hot from your coffee, and Cold like your salad. Just don't be surprised if your clear goes bad in a year or two. Well, on a serious note, on a Mitsubishi Training Video I have aquired for the Evo VIII, the video states the wing is most useful with speeds in excess of 130mph. How much force it produces it does not mention. I am sure its around 100-200lbs range. Depends. But please guys and gals, don't use itas a coffee table, that just hurts my feelings. Till the next post.........Take Care all...........

I havent noticed the difference between my car and my girls RS. They are the two most stable cars Ive ever driven at speed. I use my wing as a handle to close my trunk. I want to get rid of the wing after winter.

Yeah right, you would have to bolt it up to an srt-4 for that to work. However, if Chuck Norris was driving your car......it just might be possible.
