A resonated test pipe takes the edge off a bit and dumping the cat offers a noticeable improvement.

Where is the best place to order the heat shield from, is there any drilling required for the shield?

Thanks again guys! I orderd the Invidia Downpipe, and the Invidia Test Pipe with the Ti, so hopefully a good setup.

I didn't have any, but I went out and snapped some shots of the ***-end of the car.

It was dark and the car's just in the garage, so they aren't the best …

Sweet MR. The Greddy Ti looks good with the JDM IX bumper and no soot buildup.

Thanks, man. The bumper's only been on for a week, but the soot doesn't stick like it used to on the USDM bumper. That's for sure.

Annual - Glad you bought the greddy Ti from Marty. I got mine last week from him - its swweeeet!

I guess the Invidia fits the normal IX, but I am not sure how it works on the MR which is what I have. I am waiting on the DC cat-delete downpipe from Marty now....Let me know how you like your setup! Thanks!

Thanks for all the replies guys

Injected performance was nice with all my horrible (nooby) questions hehe but Marty put up with me. lol

Well the Ti looks amazing on your car with the JDM IX Rear. I'll have to live with my USDM rear because thats not on the list yet for a while.

Another question: Was it hard to install the CF Heat shield? Im contemplating on getting the CF one or just the one for 19 bux, which is like a piece of shiet metal and u fold it lol.

Thanks again What Noise??? and hi_nrg_fizzix. You guys rock!

I prefer the CF plate as it provides more protetcion to the bumper!

I have a carbontrix heat shield I am going to install. Upon test fitment, it seems warped - as it doesnt seems to want to fit on there well. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or not.

If you go with a CF shield- Install is not that tough, use double-sided tape or rivets. I suggest using rivets on the bottoms and then tape on the visible part of th bumper.

I probably will end up going with the Authority CF Shield.

Rivets? Where do you recommend getting some rivets to fit? Home depot?

How would you install the rivets?

rivets need a rivet gun, they are "stapled" on and make holes in the bumper, just a FYI. Any competent tool place should carry rivetting supplies.

You'll need a rivet gun to install rivets. I picked one up at Sears® for $10. Home Depot® would have one too. You can also get rivets at either place. It's cheap and easy to use … that's what she said at least.

I didn't know if I would like having exposed rivets holding on my shield, but I really dug the look once I did it. Gives it more of a race look, IMO.
