The NX system is a spraybar that sprays the nitrous onto the intercooler. If your interested in a colder spray, just put some ice in the spray reservoir at the track, of better yet, some dry ice if it is available to you.
One astute observer on another board noted that the IC mister reservoir has a big enough opening to allow some small cubes of ice to be dropped in for a cooler mixture if you were running it hard in hotter weather.
NOS is a great intercooler spray, much better than the useless h2o spray currently on the car. The NOS actually supercools the air and you WILL notice a difference!
Not to mention that most tracks in the US will not allow an h2o sprayer because it drips on the track and has the potential to cause others to slide.
Porsche has actually looked into using a NOS sprayer for their turbos because it would allow for a smaller intercooler, but NOS is not as practical or safe to work with as h2o.

Hey evilution....
You mentioned that after hard driving you looked in the tank in the trunk but noticed no fluid level changes....I know why.
Fluid tank in the trunk = washer fluid for the windows.
Fluid tank under the hood = washer fluid or water for IC sprayers
SC~

My IC spray tank is actually close to empty.
i just got an evo 8,does anyone know what will make the intercooler auto sprayer go on ? i know we have said if we drive it hard it will go on, but what is hard ? rev's ? temp ? i think im going to get a temp guage and hook it up to the intercooler to monitor the temp of that.
