Wow. thanks for all the help guys. I didn't know I'd get this much attention eventho it is about BOV's. lol. But by some ppl saying it'll be fine VingTA and others saying it'll run like crap makes it hard to decide.

Do you guys agree stock under the hood+ BOV = ricer?

Not into the "ricer" thing, but if you blow your MAF, you better have $550.00 in your couch! mine got ruined with it. Go ahead and get one, and 1/2 of us on here will say: "TOLD YOU SO", and the people who told you to get it will say: "Man that sux!" When it lets go!

Again, my suggestion is to change the setup back to recic. setup insteading of VTA. The installation is easy if you know how to install the BOV. If not, here is a site for you.

http://www.serioussolutions.com/evo/hks_ssqv.htm

He shows his 03 Evo, but it works the same for 04 and 05, not sure about 06.

Again, you will see the different after you switch to recic. At least, mine did and I am glad I did it.

I get asked this question atleast once a week on the phone. My reply is ususally to ask "what performance benifit is there to running the bov VTA?" Customer ususally makes some sort of odd noise to which i reply "yeah, none at all. Modification for the sake of noise is RICE. Modification that makes the car performe worse for the sake of RICE is stupid, and I hope my customers are smarter than that!".
