idle problem..

ok so it all started when i installed my injen intake and upper ic pipe. My idle will dip to about 500-600 every now and then...sometimes i will pull to a light and as im sitting there it will dip then go up then a little time goes by and it dips again. but other times it idles fine. So i got tuned by AL and ofcourse the idling did not fluctuate wahtsoever when AL was driving it. So now after the tune i still get the dip in idle.
-when i took off the MAF sensor i damged the little honeycomb stuff(a few cells) if that helps?

Mine does it too, it got worse with the MAF pipe from my Typhoon intake. Try swapping to the rubber hose intake and see if it makes a difference.

The intake pipe, the pipe that connects from the turbo to the MAF and filter, try swapping that metal one with the stock rubber one to see if it helps. Keep the cone filter on though.

Mine does the same thing and I have a typhoon as well. I can't even get the ecu+ to get rid of it with decel and idle smoothing.

mine does that with the tune (hks rs intake)

i accidently hit my maf with a screw driver and it dented a part of the cone.

i think that may be the reason mine dips.

hmm...im glad i read this bc since i kinda just bought my car its still stock, so im deciding which intake to get. i had an injen on my srt4 and loved it, so i was guna go with that for this car but if it creates idle problems then maybe not...is this normal with these cars?

i get the same weird idling. some say it's because i have the A/C on.
other's explain how the air coming in spins the opposite direction than it should and it throw's the maf off.. is that true, or somewhere along those lines anywhere near? maybe the guy was just blowing hot air and i believed him...

p.s. i have the hks rs intake as well.
