Wierd Clutch Problem?
Wierd Clutch Problem?
Hey guys,
A couple of months back I noticed that my engagement point moved all the way up and that I had lost all the stiffness of the clutch pedal. I took it into the dealership and they changed out the brake/clutch fluid and told me the clutch looked fine. I did notice that I regained some stiffness but the engagement point still remained high. I now have to release the clutch 4/5th of the way up before it starts grabbing. I know that you can change the engagement point by simply adjusting the threaded rod above the clutch ( https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...h+pedal+higher ), but I was wondering why my engagement point would just randomly change. Does anyone know why the engagement point is a lot higher up now?
BTW: I'm still on the stock clutch with 24,000 miles on it, there are no signs of it slipping.

either rebleed it again, the nut for the adj. came loose, adj. moved, check the bolts on the tranny holding the slave cylinder, or you wore the clutch out.. thats i can think of witout seeing the car..
