That just fits on top of the stock airbox, right? I mean it becomes the top of the box... so you could buy that part and use it to feed a cone filter?

 

I believe so. However, NoTiGuy has said his friends in SE Asia have had water ingestion issues on rainy days. I still want it, though.

The Kansai unit doesn't drop below hood level. Also, I believe the Kansai intake box forces you to move the intercooler sprayer reservoir.
