Wow, it's been a really long time since I actually ordered a car. I guess it could be whenever they get thier allotment in or if they can have it transferred from another dealership in thier network.....

Bought mine right off the lot, just like the last one....

Good luck!

heh.. so i placed my deposit on one that the dealership already had allocated to them. It was supposedly already being built. This was last week in october, first week in november (somewhere around there) I still dont have my car yet. It supposedly is going to be here by thursday but I'm not holding my breath. In the meantime, they were kind enough (after a serious azz chewing session by me) to put me in a loaner RX-8 until my car arrives and to sell me the car at invoice... Hope you have better luck than me :\

I live in CT and I ordered mine one month ago. Several dealerships up here have IX's on the lot, but I wanted a white one so I had to have one allocated for me. The dealer is predicting early Feb for a delivery date. If that holds true, I will have waited about 8 weeks for mine.

If you really want one now, call some dealerships in CT. They are around here and there.

Walked into the dealership and they had about 6. So immediately. But remember, the come through the West coast (from Asia) so they must be shipped by truck across the country.

Damn, glad I didn't have to order mine. Right time, right place, same with my old 04' STI, walked in the day after it was off the truck, got a test drive and bought right there on the spot. No waiting lists or dealership mark ups.

Since I was able to ride an Evo 5 I have been waiting for my evo to arrive. (hey that rhymes!)

I went to the dealer and they got the first batch of evo 9's. I was trying to make a good deal on the 8, knowing that they would want to sell it first. But they gave me a better deal on the 9 so ended up buying the 9.

I think mine took me about 40 minutes. Crazy how some regions/dealers don't have any, while some dealers already have stock piles.

There were 6 MR's and 4 GSR's @ Shaumburg Mitsu when I bought mine.
