6bolt engine 4bolt rear end, personally seen a stock 7bolt run 11.7 on pump/meth, I ran 27psi on my stock 7bolt with no problems, most of the crankwalk was 94-97

oh, i didn't know thats what you were talking about (rear end).
94 was still 1g, the 2g started at 95' and the engine never changed until 00 (eclipse) when the whole body style changed, no more boost. i didnt say that they all did it (crankwalked) and that you cant make them make amazing powerwith them, im just saying that the first gens are better.(more stable, and will take more abuse)

There are endless possibilities. Start with a cheap car for $500 or less.

92.5 and later got the 7bolt. Early 92's got the 6bolt/4bolt combo.

And to the earlier post, you can run 30psi on the 14b but it's definitely not effecient that that boost level.

The sr20DET swap to do it right will cost more then he wants to budget for, If keep the stock motor and put a turbo kit on it, it will stomp on most SR20det's all day long with only running about 6psi. That is the plan for mine sitting the driveway!
