Realistic is more like it. Most (nearly all) lease residuals are far too high, resulting in a nice managable payment but a buyout figure at the end that is so far from the real-world value of the car as to be bordering on science fiction.

If Mitsubishi was really all that interested in leasing Evo's the residuals and the factors would be much better.

Mitsubishis in general have fairly low residual values. Private sales will be the only place they'll be worth money unless MMCA changes things.

I don't see how one can justify leasing a limited production/high resale car at these resids.

Wow, those residuals are really bad for a car with such low production numbers. SI'm just getting the hang of all these lease terms, but doesn't that mean they expect a new Evo to be worth less then $15k after 2 years?!

Your right 9% is crazy, if you have good credit you can go to an outside bank and get 4.99%
