So i was talking to some fellow evo owners and they say im going about modding my evo in the wrong direction...
So far i have
Full tbe w/ test pipe.
HKS RS intake
HKS turbo timer
Ebay tubular manifold
Ebay o2 housing

So i have those and they tell me i should get a BOV / MBC / fuel pump /
before the parts i did.
Also i have a question whats the best tune?
Should i just get in a mail order?
Also the parts i already have are they that bad to get? Why do they tell me that im modding in the wrong order?

doubt the ebay manifold will last long. I wouldnt say u went the wrong way modding, but you do need the items they listed also, and i would get that intake off until u get a flash... they really screw stuff up when not properly tuned. I would definately reccomend the full custom tune flash... I have had that done on both evos i have owned and swear by it... I had al from dynoflash do both of mine... he does good work. But u should definately get the mbc, fuel pump, and some kind of aftermarket bov (i have the turbosmart dual-port and love it) cuz the stock ones BARELY hold stock boost levels... do that and get it tuned and im sure u will be very happy with ur car... should be laying down over 300whp... good luck.

Yes, you went too far with the exhaust mods, you have an intake that only hurts you untuned, and you don't have 2 of the 3 most important mods still (tuning and boost control).

Asking "what's the best tune?" makes no sense. there is no single "best tune," but I'm sure you already know that if you ever read threads here on EvoM. You could get a mail-in flash and be in good shape if you have no one near you who can tune you, or you can wait for a Dynoflash trip to your area, like the Denver trip coming up in the next month or two...

Ok i have decided i want Al to tune my car.. But what i don't understand is you say get tuned first then those mods? Wouldn't that throw my car out of tune? So install all the parts and get a tune?
