Interesting, because that is not legal. EcuTek doesn't allow that...

How much were they charging for the Ecutek Flash, did you say $450? Or is it more expensive? Anyhow looks I will be going with Harman, unless there is another Dynoflash visit to Socal in late April/early May.
That's why I posted this , I wnat someone with experience flashing my IX

The $599 price is for the license and the dyno time used to tune. If you ask me $600 for a flash is a pretty good price, I mean the guy has to put your car on the dyno and tune it afterall. After you get the license out of the way and you need another flash because you added a part then it would only cost $200 to reflash it again on the dyno. Remember no one will tune for free, you have to pay to play.

Really... very interesting since Ecutek has a very strict MAP price of $650. Any ecutek dealer that sells it for less risks loosing there dealer status.

No, the price for the license is $650 minimum, not including any dyno time or "labor." Harman is either not quoting you the full price or running a very high risk of having their dealer status revoked.

Calm down on the prices guys. Eman ended up getting misquoted (by me no less). But I'm not an ***, so I'm honoring the price.

We have full launch control w/ the Ecutek software. I prefer 5500, but it can be set wherever you like.

You can write over an Ecutek flash, but you loose the licence.

We only offer Ecutek flashes for the IX. We have Techtom AND Ecutek flashes for the Evo8.

Standard prices are as follows:

Harman Motive Rev/Boost Flash: $99
Harman Motive Evo8 Bench Flash: $299
Harman Motive Evo8 Ecutek Flash: $650
Harman Motive Evo9 Ecutek Flash: $650

Custom dyno tuning is available - please call or email for a quote on your particular setup.

We also offer AFC tuning coupled with a FREE Rev/Boost flash for $200/hr - can't beat that!

While I don't post on here much, you guys can always get me via email: dan @ harmanmotive.com

Regards,
