Help me in my ongoing quest to increase my automotive knowledge. What is a accomplished when you change the hotside of your turbocharger? I see these posts about people putting in a 10.5 hotside. Does it increase the flow of the exhaust? Please educate me!

 

Yes it increases flow. Do a search, you will find plenty of info on this subject.

 

it ports out the diamater of the pipe so more can flow through with will increase you turbo spool, less lag. its a great mod

 

Thank you for answering my question. I did do a search, but sometimes it is hard to find the particular inforamtion you are looking for. You may get it with the first thing you click on, or you may have to look through 20 before you find what you want. Sometimes it is just easier to ask.

 

Yes, I read through an install of a 10.5 hotside. Looked fairly easy to do. Thinking about that as one of my next mods.

 

yeah its not that expensive and you will definitely notice a difference, good luck
