my 5th gear grinds everytime i go into it now. but if i let it drop to 1000rpm then put it in i doesnt. does this mean a bad syncro? or just a bad gear? what are the chances mitsu will cover a new syncro considering i have an ACT & prostreet flywheel in? but those are my only mods

 

Like we have said in the other 1000 synchro threads, it depends on the dealer, but there is a TSB for it, so they should fix it for free as long as your car is still under warranty.

I don't feel like getting the link to my TSB threads, so I'll let you use this as an opportunity to practice using the Advanced Search.

i had the same problem my 5th gear would grind whn i switched i higher rpm>S from 4th to 5th , the dlr fixed but were diks about it
