Just picked up my RR Evo IX RS

It's funny that you saw the car before it made it's trip to Nebraska.
I originally wanted white, but day-by-day rally red grows on me. Wingless is growing on me too, so maybe I'll eventually love it, and save the cost of the wing.
I think it's going to be a real eye-opener next time I do a RallyCross, and I have proper tires, the ACD and limited-slip front diff. I'm going to have to invent some really good excuses if I don't start cleaning some Subaru clocks!

These are flappers that open from the trunk to behind the bumper. There are 3 flappers in a group. They're probably about 1x1.5" and just the wind was causing them to open up. The don't look like they're for letting excess WW fluid a way out of the trunk.

Really needs a wing though, I'll have to end up getting one for it. Evo's look naked without them. Happy they fixed the problem with the Hot/Cold knob, it turns really easily now. That was my only gripe with the interior of the VIII.

I wonder if the thin sheetmetal on the trunk can hold up a big wing. I've dented mine twice just closing it hard. Be careful!
