Sunoco on Greenpoint Ave.

 

there is a sunoco by my buddys house near island dragway in jersey and they carried either 100 0r 104 I can't remember(its been 2 years since Ive been there) but plan on heading down to the track in the spring. I wanted to gas up on that stuff before going to the track but I guess Im sol.

i noticed there wasnt any more 94 octane as well, 93 is ok, Oh well.
i have 104 unleaded about 5-10 mins from me

 

Mobil station up the road from me has Cam2 117 leaded at the pump. I always thought it was funny that a Mobil station was selling a Sunoco race fuel. They only sell it in the spring/summer and early fall. And its reasonably priced at $6.50/gal, last I checked.

 

I've been using 93 since day 1...works fine for me.

 

You can just drive over to paterson in NJ and get C16 and what not.

Edit: You can probably get the same result from putting in octane booster but i'm not sure how many bottles (freaking expensive, too) it would take.

Anyhow, I used to get 94 all the time....but now I'm like let me just stick with 93..

since I'm running 99.99% pure Methanol in my alky kit I figure screw 94 and screw 100 octane gas...

 

i do believe that some of that has to do with the government not allowing the blending of MTBE (a high octane blending component) in gasoline anymore. MTBE was a big one for refineries to make high octane blends.

 

It's Greenpoint but that's the same road. Just take Greenpoint ave. towards Brooklyn the gas station is a little after the bridge on the left hand side. I haven't been there in a couple of years so if you go post how much they are charging per gallon.

I think i was paying like $5.55 a gallong for 100 octane at Citgo on Northern BLVd in Flushing Queens.

I get my methanol for like $3 gallon, and most likely a bit cheaper once I strike a deal with the supplier to resell it....

The way things have been going my 1 gallon bottle of meth is lasting me like 2-3 tankfills......

The 5 gallon can I bought is sure gonna last me a while.
