well i hit a raccoon about 2 weeks ago and banged up my intercooler when i hit it. I'm getting the insurance check in a few days, (i posted about this a week or so ago) anyways i'm going to buy the ams intercooler with lower intercooler piping, since first off its cheaper then from the dealer and perfect time to change it now. I have the following mods: 3" tbe no cat, injen intake, turbosmart Bov, MBC, walboro 255, and a custom ecutek flash from turbotrix, i'm about 310whp/315tq. Now my question is will i see any big gain from this intercooler with LIP? I am also getting 280 comp tech cams( there still on backorder so i'm just waiting). TIA

 

Comp cams from TurboTrix or Tomei ProCams with 280 duration with be a nice addition too. Just a thought

 

thats what i meant comp cams from turbotrix thats what i'm going with up to 50whp increase from what they told me on an 05

 

youll notice a little bit of a difference, from the front mount and not to mention the lower intercooler piping which is key my friend.

 

what kind of difference like 10hp? i've heard up to 30 crank, is this right?

hell thats good enough of an increase for me consider that the insurance company is paying for it, if this accident didn't happen then i could justify this much money for that little of a gain
