Weird Whining noise, and hole in gas tank?

I think that something is wrong with my 2005 Evo VIII MR.

Anytime I really get on the gas, I hear a whistle coming from under the hood... the car speeds up quiclky... and the whistling gets louder and louder... it stops when I let off the gas though. I am not sure if it is related... but I think I have a hole in the back of my gas tank too... I say the back because when ever I drive the car really hard, the gas level goes down pretty quickly.

What do you think I should? I am really worried.

BTW... I am just kidding... bored and want to see the reactions...

Oh man... I was just waiting for the flames until I read the end.

But it did remind me how shocked I was when I noticed how fast the gas was going when I stepped on it when I first got my car. I've never had a car where the MPG varied so much. I could get anwhere between 190 - 400 miles on a full tank depending on how hard I push it.

I think this is the funniest thing I EVER read on here!!!!

Seriously, if it is not a boost leak, I bet it is your Transfer case!!! Does it sound like a "tornado siren?" click that into the "search" tab above. How many miles, how hard are you driving it?

I already bought the muffler bearings... I actually bought two of them... (one for my fake "dual exhaust" muffler). I also bought a "tornado" to put in line of the air intake... that didn't seem to help either.

Currently I just turn up my radio as loud as I can to try to drowned out the sound.

As for the gas tank... I have it completely wrapped in duck tape... and it is still leaking... but the tape is dry... maybe it is evaporating.

As for the blinker fluid... will that still work with the cleared out lenses and colored bulbs? Just wondering... could I get blue fluid... I heard blue is faster... I will have to get some and test it in my neighborhood... I will have some exact HP numbers from my drive to the mini mart.

It took me 11.5 gallons to fill up after travelling only 105 miles during a "spirited" driving session in the hills one afternoon.

I've also averaged as much as 33 MPG on the highway by staying off boost.

Talk about varied fuel econemy...

I'm not too sure how this would help the current situation, but if you buy one of the Woooo-Wooooooo's(Bob Rob), you will only be able to hear the Woooo. No more hissing!
