reason to not sell parts to just anyone

Cause you might end up selling to children and get them calling your house at 3:30 in the morning just to wake your familiy and scare your wife.

Yes just shortly after posting the pics of the perfect oil pump sent to talentsearch301,

http://photobucket.com/albums/f397/lancerman/?sc=1

I don't get comments like "wow, looks like a perfect pump!"
or "wow, looks like the seller was right on this one"

I get children posting my phone number so other children can call my home in the middle of the night.

*69 gets me a "number blocked by caller"

beware. lots of children on this board who don't deserve to be here.

Seriously, there is already a post describing this transaction on this board already, you starting another thread about it doesn't help your cause in the slightest.

Grow up.

If you knew who this guy was and how much he knows about DSM you wouldn't say that. I for one think the buyer got dooped by his mechanic.

I can see from his signature that he's in the 10s and knows what he's talking about, but the fact remains, it's already been posted and everyone can read it there.

Did he pay for the oil pump that you have? If the answer is yes then return it to him. He paid for it, weather it is junk or it is in perfect operating condition it is his. If you think it is perfect then pay him the cost of a new oil pump, and use it in your next project. If you think it is junk then pay him the cost of a new oil pump and throw the piece of junk pump in the trash.

Simply put, you have an item that belongs to someone else. Either pay for it or send it back to him.

Fourdoor,

What's your home phone number so I can post it on here?

I swear you mods are ridiculous. He already said he'd send the pump back. The buyer's acting like a little baby. There is no way that the pump isn't working. It was the install that went bad.

This place is great.

Then leave. We do not read every post and your conclusion relative to the oil pump is as valid as any ones without first hand knowledge. I actually skimmed the thread and missed the phone number. I removed it and the guy who posted it has been warned. The point being it was not a conscious decision to leave the number posted. I hope that answers your pissy PM. Thanks.

And this is a cross post. Closed.
