I don't understand why people say subaru quality is better than mitsubishi. I used to have a 97 legacy and the underbody is completely rusted with only a few years of use. Same thing with my uncle' forester.

 

My 02 WRX rattled alot when it got cold. I've sat in other WRX's and they even rattle more. My EVO is solid.

 

They've come a long way... I still wouldn't give up my Evo though...

 

If I was worried about rattles I would have bought a Lexus, BMW, or a Mercedes .If you wanted to go fast them you know your 2 choices. These are not luxury cars. These are PERFORMANCE CARS! If it rattles, who cares as long as you can break late in a corner not worrying about your brakes Smash on the gas and feel that rush of the turbo. Some people think they are buying a luxury car just because it has 4 doors…

 

lucky me i dont have to hear the Annoy Rattles... Cuz im Deaf

 

all of my subies rattled. the evo not as many. there are lots of diy threads about fixing rattles for the impreza, havent really seen any for the evo.

in the end if i wanted no noise and a cush ride, i wouldnt pick a performance minded rally car. hmm...3 series or R32 or GLI.

 

None of my suby's rattled. My first two evo's did not rattle. My 3rd evo rattles more then my Ford F150... It's the luck of the draw unfortunately my friends..

 

Both Subaru's I've owned have or have had rattles.

My Audi had rattles, constantly annoying as hell.

Wife's Mazda3- no rattles at 15k.

Evo MR- no rattles.

 

the only time i hear rattles on my car is when I turn up my system....

 

last i checked, i dont have a single rattle in my STi

 

Give it time. You'll get yours.
