I would get a 98-02 trans am ws6 ( hard to find with low miles and manual trans. ) or a srt-4 or maybe a 02-04 wrx but thats just my opinion.

If you're into hot hatches you can get a RSX, 05 civic si, focus, or a mini cooper which will make you extremely popular with the girls but guys will think u're gay

get a turbo saab for 4000
put 2000 into performance parts(exaust, intake, bov, clutch, nitrous)
run 12s in the quarter
have 4000 left over for whatever you want

My brother has an 95 ealge talon tsi. It needs and motor and tranny which you could probably pick up for 2-3K plus what he charges for the car? Definitely under 10k. PM me if your interested because it's just been sitting in storage for over a year now.

My wife has the 140hp version, and it's a great car. Drives on rails for a little car, so I can imagine what the Si will do with the better suspension and extra Hp. My father-in-law is picking one up in the spring, and I can't wait to drive the little monster!

Ok I'm confused by this, what is your price range for a car, $10,000? $10,000 + what you have saved? More details man, cuz if it's only $10,000 then your list of possible choices changes.

turbo car is a big step up, coming from a fwd auto rsx to an evo. i nearly **** my pants at the power and driving differences. id say start with something manual first. maybe a 5 speed honda or 240sx if you want manual with a rear wheel drive. after that try getting your dream car an evo. trust me the evo is the worst car to learn how to drive stick in. take it from me. i went through it all. lol
