This was some nice driving IMO but as soon as he smoked all 4 wheel and went across the grass I couldn't stop laughing, the jump was just the ICING ON THE CAKE!

I was sitting here thinking "no wonder so many people on this forum break things" thinking that was the way everyone drives their Evo's.

LMAO though, it's like "oh man I look stupid, screw this I'm gone!!"

^ that last one looks like regular road race.
what exactly is the defenition of gymkhana?
i thought is was more like auto-x, racing though cones for fastest time.

the first vid is nuts.. you cant drive anything else like that .. love that AWD!
makes bad drivers look cool

I think that was the Annual Folsom Prison Rally and that was his chance to escape!

Seriously, up to about 1:20 that was one of the funnest driving vids I've seen... after that, it is THE funnest!

road race can't be done on a small track liek that... they were hardly breaking 60 miles an hour.

actually... if you think about it... it sorta takes SOME skill to drive like he did... you can't just senselessly thrash your tires like that and not end up stopping, for being an assclown he drifted and caught very well, albeit he ran off many times which just makes me wonder what he was really doing at all.

- still doesnt mean it was the ture def. of gymkhana. they had multiple cars on the track at the first part (of the second vid).. which is not gyhkhana.

as for the original vid.. I wasn't saying that the guy couldn't drive.. you are right you can't be a complete retard and drift like he did... just saying its a whole lot easier when you have AWD.

i think they were warming up or like test lapping the course in the beginning. autocross definitely has multiple cars at at time, but i do think that was not the timed part.

It does take an amount of skill to do what the guy did. However, if he doesn't insist in pinning the throttle to the floor all the time and actually direct the car in the general direction in which the track leads, he would go around the track a lot quicker. It looks very spectacular, but probably much slower than what can be done. Perhaps it was just for show...
