Old Style Megan Catback ??

Hey guys I recently picked up what seems to be an older style Megan catback. It has an APEX'i N1 style canister with a 3.75" tip. I was wondering, will it bolt up to the stock catalytic converter? I read a few threads a while ago where people complained of it causing some issues in install or something of the like. Are there any issues I should worry about it prior to bolting it up to my stock cat on my '05 GSR? Thanks!

You will have to dremel 2-3mm out of the inside of the Megan bolt holes to get it to fit the OE cat. It is a full 3" system and the flanges were designed for such. However, I, myself, have done this to my own in order to run the OE cat when I "need to".

Also, you may or may not run into a few fitment problems if you are trying to bolt this up to an 05". Some have had issues, some have not. Megan is bringing an 05" specific catback to market due to the few who have had issues.

Okay I can understand the dremeling of the holes to make it fit the stock cat, but other than that, has anybody with an '05 had experience with the this 'old style' megan catback?
