Need to Identify if these are evo 8 or evo 9 parts!

I need to know if these parts came from an evo 8 or evo 9. pics of the parts below all came from a mitsu test car. I guess their testing facility is in Ann Arbor. Anyways, a vin check of this car came back as an 04. BUT, it is confirmed that a trans was a 6 speed and the speedometer (showed 15k miles) has the ACD indicator. The pistons say evo9 on them!!!! And check out the head. What’s that to the right side of the intake cam! Also, does the block have the same oil and coolant passages as an evo 8 block?

I will be getting bigger and better pictures tomorrow.

Looks like the mivec head the intake cam has a sensor where as the evo 8 head has none.
