Cruise

I've heard some people complain about the Evo not having cruise control for those long trips. Well i was wondering if it possible to install cruise control on an evo or if anyone has??

You have to take a piece of wood and wedge it between the gas pedal and the floor, or you could try searching because I remember seeing this topic discussed before.

Cruise control = a steady foot and self discipline.

Added cruise and do like it as do a lot of highway driving to and from work. Ran around $300 installed and works great.

the unit was like $200 bucks, i know i posted up about it. However, since my evo rarely sees the street too much anymore, especially the highway, i don't use it as often.

if i had it again, i'd probably put it in again, if it was my daily driver still? heck yeah i would.

Not a hard install, but takes a few tricks, a little logic, and some inventiveness.

i have one, I don't ever use it. It's not very good on modded Evo. It's never steady yet it's always up, half boosting, down, no power, and jerks a lot.

usually it's caused by the hills and change in elevation level.

turn the gain down to the lowest setting.

after doing that, it drives a LOT better.
