Mine isn't worn, it's just stiff, rough, and disgusting. It's like someone ran a marathon in suede underwear.

It seems to me that this is a common problem even on the IX. The drivers side door panel is also showing some wear along with some wrinkles in the front seat
corners

haha

I got the pitpass. And when I came to get my oil change they voided it cause of drop in filter. So that oil temp is nothing I'd suspect. Mitsu is at it again

Guys just put a small towel over the center console cover, if your gonna rest your elbow on it. It should prolong the wear.

yea mine did this too big surprise, i just used the brush you get with a can of upholstery cleaner to comb out the lint and whatnot out of it but i didnt use the cleaner though for fear of getting the fibers all matted up.

my armrest is worn to ****

the best alternative to spending like 130 bones on a new OEM mitsu one is to go to lancershop.com and get the Authority or Tyrant carbon fiber armrest cover- replaces the whole armrest, not just the outer covering. and its CF and cheaper than a stock replacement!

....and my driverside floormat ****TTT i have like two crators in that thing from rwhere i rest my feet constantly!and a little line from where the heel of my work boots minorly scrape when i wear them and let out the clutch

I had the same problem. I just learned not to use the door armrest or center console armrest.

Definitely! People think putting carbon on their car is OK, because its "performance oriented" but carbon armrests? C'mon people!
