Any chance getting it covered under warrenty? At that kind of mileage I would think the dealer would do something?

i am having the same problem with mine. it's been holding off though, since for winter i bought a $9 pair of imitation ralliart mats from ebay to keep salt and crap off my real mats.

i've never seen such fragile floormats as the stockers though.

40K miles and I just replaced mine with MR's from Lancershop. I keep putting the old ones back when it rains though.

Are you wearing golf cleats while driving? How the heck do you rub a hole in the mats before 4000 miles?!?

My stock mats lasted 50,000 miles.

I knew that this is what would eventually happen with mine, so I immediately put thick all-weather mats (black rubber) on the floor in both the driver's side and the passenger side. My original car mats have yet to have a shoe touch them.
