Is there an optional Mitsu turbo timer??

I had heard there was an optional turbo timer installed by Mitsu dealers as an option. Is this true? Anyone buy it or know how much it is? Is it worth it? Thank you.

Not a factory piece, but companies like HKS of course make them and its possible that some dealers might install such aftermarket units.

I had heard that Mitsubishi had one for like $500 installed that worked with the factory stuff and just plugged in. Didn't know if anyone had bought it, or if it was true.

As far as know, this is just myth at this current time. I've contacted several dealers and Mitsu has no such option as of yet. As far as having Mitsu install an aftermarket TT, you're probably better off bringing it your local performance/speedshop, as they specialize in this type of work. Just my two cents ...

Even if they did offer that, it would probably be better to get an HKS or something that offers way more features at probably a fraction of the price.
