My silver EVO was there also. Mine was the one with the Honda S2000 antenna. I guess there were more than enough silver EVOs present for the commercial (4 total, I think). I just wished the whole thing didn't take so long to rap up.

Sanjaya1 - that S2000 antenna was sweet. I'll be swinging by a Honda dealership to check that out. Thanks for the tip!
Hey Coolguy - I finally met my Irvine counterpart. Francis has the other Tarmac Black in Orange County, and he showed up towards the end of the day at Irwindale.
It was pretty sweet to see all the colors out in the sun. I still like my black, but the other colors looked sweet in their natural habitat (as opposed to being caged like animals in those horrible showrooms
)
We should have another get together sometime soon. You guys were all really kewl, and I had a blast!

That's probably the best explanation. Moviecarz.com called all the Mitsus possible to go. Emphasis was on evos.

HahAH roberto your a lucky *****... I think i got the second most shots in for the evo.... The last shot was mine.... too bad the sun had to go down so early.. IF you made tons of money.. make sure you at least give me 100 dollars out of the whole deal..

We were there with the silver evo w/o sunroof and one of those road race stickers they asked us put on... BTW how do you get those off safely? Not that I mind the look, but for what I like to do with the car there is no need to attract more attention than it already does.
I really enjoyed meeting you guys and seeing more than one evo on the road. I also was glad when the shoot was finally over after 12 hours and one hell of a sunburn as a souvenir. Went back for some more of that tasty food at the end of it and to raid the dessert bar one last time - we both felt a lot better after that.

Your evo run in the mountains sounded sweet btw. I finally broke the 600 mark yesterday and initial explorations into the new territory look promising.
TaiwanEvo - I hope you'll get your cash, seems like you're up for some more toys for your evo. You did a pretty good job at getting into the picture so I think you have a good chance - especially considering you were the only evo in the rrm shop.

I had fun out there... I was glad to meet all the people there. Hopefully there will be other events in the future that people can come out and have fun with there rides.
I know last year, Irvine BMW sponsored an M3 meet with free food, drinks, and prizes. They got the word out on Roadfly.org. I had fun treking out from Westwood to Irvine in my friends 2002 M3, with all the other M3 owners that met up that morning at a near by shopping center parking lot.
