I agree totally with the others that have complained about the title of this thread - should be "Emergency Rooms Stink". That's almost 1.5hrs per stitch.

MY THUMB PEOPLE!!! LORD! almost 10 hours in the ER!!! Nah...She is alright...She has a large "upper" area. that is for sure. She came out and asked today if I was ok...wearing something quite distracting!

You were lucky too. You probably hit bone and thats what stopped it from completely going through. A little higher and you would've needed a few more stitches and they would have gone all the way around...
