what a GREAT weekend to go snowboarding with IX!!

Just thought I would share a couple pics of my awesome weekend. We went to Sugar mountain not expecting too much snow. It snowed the entire time we were there, around 10 inches. It was awesome. Got to drive my IX in the snow for the first time. I had driven my VIII a few times, but the IX with the acd was awesome.

it was my first time going to sugar. I have been to wintergreen and snowshoe in VA plenty of times. I have to say that sugar is my favorite "as long as its snowing." NC doenst usually get this much snow but there was tons this time and when you start at the top of the mountain its over 1.3 miles to the bottom. Its the longest run I have ever been on! Lifts were really crowded on saturday but sunday we prolly went down the long run over 15 times. The whole mountain was covered in powder and didnt hurt quite as much tumbling and flipping for 300 ft or so.

sounds like a winding cattrack...you need to get out of the east coast! whistler has over a mile of vertical, i.e. straight down. many resorts in europe have 6000+ ft of vertical as well.

it was sweet. People getting stuck on the mountain roads and wrecking into each other and I would come crusing by them in complete control

East coast sucks, they don't have mountains, they have hills, and they are all flat. East coast riders are weak anyway. Put them on a steep slope and they ***** out.

Well...at least YOU got snow. It snowed for 10 minutes this year at our local mountain. The rest is crappy blown snow....so sad. Last year was actually an awsome snow season, what the hell happened?!

While I was stationed in Europe got a chance to spend 3 days in Austria snowboarding. Haven't found a place yet that could match this.

Hmm always nice to wake up and go to work here this was a few years back when i worked at the resort (keystone), but whoever said it is right, west coast kicks the poop out of the east coast. FYI the longest run here is 5 miles. altitude in my shack in the picture was dang close to 13,000 ft. (and i have the rest of the panoramic if you wanna see
