yea u can..... ot, traffic jobs, security details, school details, court time. on traffic jobs the rate is $57.50 an hour. emergency traffic job rate is $67.50 and hour and when it goes past 8hrs then its $75 an hour. regular ot rate is a little over $60 and hour.

Damn, I shoulda just gotten into the police academy instead of going to med school and 4 years of slave labor (referred to as "residency" by hospital administrators). I would be we ahead of where I am now, with the many years of productivity and no school debt. Plus, I could carry a gun!!!

 

Riverdale cops are paid well. In fact, most north eastern NJ towns pay very well. Lots of money in that area. Englewood Cliffs police START at around $70,000/yr. (highest paid in the nation, or so the newspaper said) I remember reading that the Englewood Cliffs Police Chief makes something like $250,000/yr.

 

Get a job as a NJ cop and you'll be set.

I know a handful and they are making quite the money.
