Daytona evo in-car video clip (short)
Here's a quick clip I shot from the Rolex24 weekend. Friday had a parade laps event for Milestones club. It was too many cars, and they tried to keep everyone from spacing out for runs. Safety trucks on the banking, motorcycle cops pacing, etc. Result was creeping around at 30 mph. Boring. So, a few of us spaced out a bit of room on the last go around. I was able to get a bit over 100 on the straights, but very short lasting. I got thumbs up from the corner workers and pissy looks from motor cops.
You have to select widescreen on the bottom for proper aspect ratio.

Camera was on the inside of windshield. I bought a ChaseCam from chasecam.com. Inexpensive, lots of mounting potential, inside and out. I plan to make a vid of different spots one of these days, just havent had the time.
Stock internals, exhaust sound gets muted from inside, I'm curious to do an outside mount to see how it sounds. Any speed over 100, and you get the wind noise though. I have another track day at Barbers coming up, will play with mounting options hopefully.
Driving around Daytona was fun. It really puts those guys hitting the high banks at 180+ mph in perspective. Daytona is freaking huge!

Ooops, sorry. I should have said I bought the chasecam mount, I have a Canon minidv camcorder that attaches to the mount. It's the SM31 mount for $65.00. It works great.
