mounting a hallman mbc

Most people mount the mbc right next to the battery but that still seems alittle far. Has anyone gone from one mounting point to a shorter mounting point and noticed better boost habits.

I have mine mounted on the radiator bolt under the stock airbox snorkel.

I have mine mounted above the cam angle sensor.

Length of the hoses has nothing to do with turbo lag.
