I went wingless about 2 or 3 weeks ago and it looks great. I will take some pics tomorrow and post them.

The wing isn't just for looks people, it actually serves a purpose, unlike the huge ricer wings on all these fwd civics. If you drive fast or occasionally go to the track, you really shouldn't even consider taking off the wing because you will lose some performance. The gigantic rear wing is a big part of the EVO's heritage as it has had one for many generations now, and I personally think its blasphemy if you remove it!

I have an RS but have no energy to respond. There are so many threads already about this. Please search.

The wing serves absolutely no purpose for everyday driving. It only helps going around corners at a high speeds, which should never be done on public roads so therefor not needed if you don't track the car.

Yeah thats exactly why I said "If you drive fast or occasionally go to the track". If you always drive slow then go ahead and take the thing off, however I cannot see why anyone would buy an EVO and then proceed to drive it slow everywhere. I occasionally autocross, but I also typically hit 120mph+ on certain public roads late at night when it is "safe" (back roads) to test suspension settings.

Its never safe to hit 120mph+ on any public road.

I have lightning yellow, unless it's under a car cover it is not a sleeper. Plus the full Varis kit makes it stick out a little. My wing is off right now for my full carbon trunk install, and it does make it look a little short, but not bad. Still needs a wing though, esp. since the vortex generator is kind of silly without it.

I think it looks cool with a spoiler, but I'm sick and tired of people getting at the Evo because of it. At least if you dont have a spoiler, itll lessen your chances of someone in a rice rocket trying to race you.
