debaging question NEED ANSWER ASAP!!

just debaged the evolution part while leaving the lancer on because i just added the uk evolution badge on the center of the trunk. so after debaging, it left alot of adhesive on, which i took most of it off using fingernails, but also after taking the emblem off it left an outline of the word evolution. so my question is this, what product did you guys use to remove the rest of the "outline" to make it nice and clean? ive heard that wd-40 and goo gone works well, but just want to confirm this. thanks

If there is excess adhesive left over use an adhesive remover which is safe for the paint. If it is all gone and its mostly dirt left behind wipe it clean with water and then use something like Meguairs Scratch-X to polish the area. This will leave it clean and pretty.

I have the same problem with the outline. You can only see it in certain lights though. No matter what I try it still shows up in the light. You might just have to live with it like me.
Keep us posted if you figure a way to get rid of it permanently.

i removed mine with a polisher, only took a couple of minutes and a little bit of Meguiar's.

Go to a autobody store and buy a can of the 3M Automotive adhesive remover and use that to get the rest of the glue off, then clay bar it before one final coat of wax.

Goo Gone, hairdryer....when all adhesive is off, give the debadged area a good waxing untill the outline is gone.
