Quick Help on Spring install

Hotchkis spring install:
Do we keep the yellow foamy bump stop that goes on the shaft, and install the new bump stop over it, or loose the stock and use just the new bump stop.
Their instuctions do not mention anything about the stock one.

I am thinking we loose the stock yellow one & the new one from Hotchkis is installed in its place.

I just don't want to get it all back together and be wrong

Thanks in advance

This link says they cut the stock one in half so...I am thinking I am right.

You replace the stock one with the one included with the springs.

I appreciate the quick response, and yes I went out 1st thing this morning and got a spring compressor. I am done and she looks great and rides superb.
So for those who say these springs do not improve the ride well....
I am impressed.

A spring compressor is a good idea but not needed. I've done plenty of spring installs without spring compressors All you need is air tools.
